Brotherhood

Temple Adath Yeshurun offers Jewish men opportunities for camaraderie and fun through service to synagogue and community.  Through its 65+ years of giving and growing, Brotherhood supports TAY financial needs, education, and social programming.

Other programs include the annual Brotherhood-Sisterhood Shabbat service, Sukkah building, placing memorial flags at Hebrew cemetery to honor our Veterans, and occasional musical events. The Candidates Forum is held during election years.

01

Annual Events

Key annual programs include family Chanukah and Purim parties and Deli Night.

03

Christmas Mitzvah Program

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, volunteers cover information desks at local hospitals and deliver meals to local police and firefighters.

02

The Kitchen Krew

The Kitchen Krew prepares meals for Brotherhood-sponsored events, including the Annual Meeting and BBQ, and other events with meals or noshes.

04

Man of the Year

Each year, the organization honors a member of Brotherhood for his contributions with the Man of the Year award.

We have a combination of in-person and online meetings from September through June. Brotherhood dues are $36 for those affiliated with a congregation and $46 for those unaffiliated. Membership in Temple Adath Yeshurun or any Jewish congregation is encouraged, but not required. We welcome your participation and new ideas for programming.
